The IRS has issued final regulations for the "no tax on tips" deduction under Code Sec. 224, which was enacted as part of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) (P.L. 119-21). The final regulations adopt proposed regulations that were issued in September 2025 ( NPRM REG-110032-25), with modifications and clarifications in response to comments received.
